Skaespeare was born on 1564, he lived in Starford apon Avon. He studies until the age of 13 and then he marrys Anne Hathway. Then he has 1 daughter and twins. Later on he moves to London. In London his career beings as a writter. He joins the acting group Lord Chamberlains Men. He wrote37 plays and  157 sonnets.Therefore Shakespeare translated the Bible to King James Also Shakespeare was a very good friend of Queen Elizabeth, she give him alot of advice for the writting. For last Shakespeare had 3 types of writting: Romantic, Tragedy and Comedy. He died when he was 52.

Kite Runner Literary Devices

In  the novel The Kite Runner there many literary devices,
Personification.   the words economic development and reform danced on the lips of Kabul”This is an example of Personification because it is giving a non human object a roll as a human. Also I think the author uses to give mood. This another Example: “At parties, when all six-foot-five of him thundered into the room, attention shifted to him like sunflowers turning to the sun" This a personification because it refers the people entering like thunder.
Metaphor: Kites were the one paper-thin slice of intersection between those spheres”  It is a metaphor because he is comparing two things, and it is not real. 
Flashbcak:Hassan and I used to clim the poplar trees in the driveway of my fathers house and annoy our neighbors by reflecting sunlight into their homes with a shard of a mirror”. This flashback shows how Amir and Hassan used to be and how the lived. It shows how they both feeled also it makes you go back to the begining of the story letting you rember. 
Simile:"Our apartment is built like a train, narrow in the front with rooms extending out to the back,” This is a simile because it compares two thing using the word as or like. It shows how the characters in the book live. 
Foreshadoing: Mama turns into a stork. Keep them safe, she says. There’s going to be a storm” It gives the feeling that something bad will happen. 
Symbolism: Building the Kite together shows the freindship of the two boys, also when Hassan gets rape , it shows how much he cares for Amir and does not says a word. 
Digresive Time: In the book it often happens that the subject is changed to the guilt that Amir has for not helping Hassan not being raped. (Is the story being told back.)

Progresive time.: The cronological  order of something, in the book it has both. 

Atmosphere: The atmosphere is always tense, and their are a few times thats happy. as an example is when they are trying to escape in the tank the atmosphere seems quiet and everyone is stressed. 

Plot twist : When the story changes from one moment to another, but to happen their has to be a hint. In the kite runner their is not an example of this.

Suspense: When they author gives feeling that something critical is going to happen, as an example when Hassan feel sick its make a suspense if he will ever tlk again to Amir

Bully Problem? 
Pablo secret is revealed and its start to be bothered. He is bothered by Pedro Juan  and after he is bothered, one night the mighty god Ramon arrives and he already new the problem Pablo had. Then the next day the mighty god defend Pablo and made him be respected and never bullied again.
My problems?
I had spelling mistakes. Also I had run on sentences. Therefore I had some punction errors. Also I should get more clear my ideas

Project(1st Quarter Character development)

In this quarter I read the book named Going Solo By Roald Dahl . This book is an autobiography of Ronald Dahl. The book is about he first going to Dar es Salaam working for Shell Oil. Then World War Two breaks out he leaves to Nairobi where the joins R.A.F  where he begins flying training to be able to go to war. After a few months in flying training he crashes in Egypt almost becoming blind. After his recovery he is sent to Greece where he has to fight the Italians which outnumber the R.A.F pilots.

Roald Dahl Develompent :  Since the beginning of the book young Roald shows that he is willing to learn and gain knowledge given to him by different people from different countries and he also loves eccentric and rare stuff this are shown in thsi quote. "All in all, it was rather wonderful for me, a conventional young lad from the suburbs , to be thrust suddenly into the middle of this pack of sineway sunburt gophers and their bright bony little wives, and what i liked best of all about them was thier ecentricities" Ch. 1 pg. 3. In this quote he tells us that this adventure is perfect for him this is shown throught the book becaue of the attitude he has during the events described.  After his first encounter with a snake which was when the deadly black mamba was slithering near Salimu and preparing to attack. After this event he felt really good because he felt he had saved Salimus life by telling him that the snake was behind him, he felt proud about this, but also he knew that he had to become more tedious and careful about snakes becase in this specific part of the world they are deadly. This is shown in pages 30 and 31 in chapter 3. The first quote is "About a month  after the black mamba incident..." This shows that this incident made a big impact on him and then he tells Mr. and Ms. Stanford about it "I told him about the black mamba and Salimu". He is proud to show that he saved a young  lad's life. This examples show that during the book he became a better person and had to defend his life in real life situations.

The author in this book gives some clues to make you predict as an example in pages 117 and 118 Roald Dahl gives clues about his army going to Greece to fight against the Italians. In this case it makes you predict Roald is going to Greece to support his army.
Tone and Mood:
The author gives the tone depending the situation. As an example when Roald sees the chefs wife being eaten by a lion his tone is amused. It was amused because he had never seen something like that. And the mood of the author during the book is that he is intersted and having fun but he is always concerned of what he is doing.

Character Development

Character Development is how an Author gives a character it way of being. The character is made to make you feel something towards him. The author shows his attitude to show you how you should feel towards the Character. If for example the Author wants you to show respect to the author. To show that the character should show the character elements like: his best friend, worst enemy, ambition, etc. The idea of the author is to show what the character feels and acts.
Elements Plot:
Element Plot is what the Author does to make a story mood and tone snd changes some details. As an example If the author starts talking about his family been lost in a fire(Series of Unfortunated Events ) you have the clue that the story is not going to be a happy story, also it shows that the tone of the book/story will be sad.

Summer Reading Summary on Harry Potter and The Goblet of Fire

In this summer I read Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire. The author of this book is J.K Rowlings. Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire is basically based on the tournament that is hosted in Hogawrts and Voldemorts return in this blog I will talk more into detail.

The book starts Harry dreaming of the Riddle Family life, and then dreaming of Voldemort talking about killing him. Also at that moment he is living with Uncle Vernon and Aunt Petunia. After all he is invited with the Weasley to go to the Quiditch World Cup. The Weasley pick him in Uncle Vernon house, it was a pretty funny moment because they arrived through the chimney.

Harry goes to the Quiditch to see Bulgaria vs  Ireland. Ireland wins the match but Viktor Krums catches the Snitch. That night after the World Cup the Death Eaters arrive and start destroying everything. After they had  destroyed the tents the Dark Mark appeared(the mark Voldemort made every time he/death eaters killed someone).Where The Mark was done Harry, Ron, and Hermione were there.  Safely they were not guilty from conjuring it.  

When they go back home, Ms.Weasley  worried received them. After being at Ron house they live to Hogwarts. At Hogwarts they arrive nowing that there is the Triwizard Cup. The Triwizard cup consists in three magic schools competing for the cup. Only one student can participate in the tournament. But tjis year there was something wrong, something strange the Goblet of Fire(what chooses the participants) had choose four participants. The participants were Cedric Digorry ,  Fleur Delacour, and Viktor Krum, Harry Potter is selected. Cedric and Harry participated for Hogwarts, Fleur participated for Beauxbatons and Viktor Krum for Durmstrang. When Harry was nominated there was a great chaos. Therefore at Hogwarts there was a new teacher. The teacher was named Mad-Eye Moody. 

The Triwizard Contest consisted in 3 stages. For the first stage Hagrid shows Harry what he was going to face off, it was dragons. This stage idea was to take an egg that the dragon was designed to protect. In this stage the four participants pass it.

Then there is the second task witch Harry goes with the trust of Dobby( a house Elf). The second task was to grab someone that they loved from the lake. Harry had to get Ron. But how Fleur was not able to reach her sister Harry saves her to. In that task Harry ends 2^nd.

At almost the end of the book the third task happens.  The third task idea was in amaze to search for the cup, when finally Cedric and Harry found the cup. They grabthe cup at the same time and are teleported to Tom Riddles cemetery. In this cemetery  Cedric Diggory gets killed by wormtail, in the cemetery Harry is used to create again Voldemort. After Voldemort resuscitates he has a combat with Harry. While the combat Harry sees his Mom , and Dad and also he sees more people that had died.  There is a second that he is able to escape and goes back to the arena where he tell them what happens.  Then he goes to Mood-Eye , Mood Eye asks him a lot of questions. After asking him a lot of questions Dumbledore and Snape arrive. They discovered that Mood Eye was not the real Mood Eye. He reveals he was a death eater and had planned all to make Harry get in the cup and end at the cemetery.  At the end of the book they make an Assembly telling what happened.

Characters

Harry Potter -  He is the hero of the series/this book. He has  12 years and uses glasses. He has a scar in his forehead. He is recognized in  the magical word because he survived an unforgivable curse. In this book he was chosen in the triwizard cup.  

Ron Weasley -  Ron is tall, red-haired, and from a respected but poor family. Ron is one of Harry's two best friends at Hogwarts. He is kind off dumb but has some great ideas

Hermione Granger -  Hermione is always the top student in her class. She isa muggle and does not goes well with Draco Malfoy.

Voldemort  -  he was once at Hogwarts named has Tom  Ridlle. He is the antoganist of the story. He was vanished. At the end of this book by the help of  of Wormtail and a Mad _Eye_Moody (the no original) at Hogwarts, Voldemort manages to rise again at the end of this story.

Albus Dumbledore -  He is the headmaster of Hogwarts, he has long beard. Harry is impressed with him

Mad-Eye Moody  -  He is the new dark art teacher, he was captured and a death eater disguised as him. At the end of the book they found him.

Settings:  The setting is at Uncle Vernon house, Rons house, Quiditch World Cup, Hogwarts, Tom Riddle Cemetery

Connection: In Harry Potter I had a lot of Connections, as an example at the quiditch world cup I made a connection when I go to the Stadium  to see millonarios. Also I made a Connection with the triwizard tournament as a Binnationals games in a magic world.

  If Harry Potter was not named as its named I would have named it Triwizard Tournament, or The Come BACK OF The Lord.

Plot:

Exposition:  The Characters I named before. And Harry was in Uncle Vernon house, and after the Weasley family pick him up for the world Cup. At the World Cup the Death Eaters appear and the Dark Mark is shown.

Rising Action : Harry arrives at Hogwarts, and is notified that the triwizard tournament  is  at Hogwarts . He is put into the tournament and he compete.

Climax: In the third Task Harry and Cedric when they grab the cup are teleported to a cemetery where they find Wormtail and Voldemort. Wormtails kills Cedric. And Harry sees Voldemort come back to live. They two have a combat and Harry is able to escape.

Falling Actions:  Harry is able to Teleport back to the arena and tell everybody the Lord is back. However Mad Eye Moody takes Harry an question him a lot. When they are askingHarry Dumbledore and Snape arrive and noticed that Mad Eye Moody was someone else.

Resolution.   Fake Mad Eye Moody is taken to Azkaban and there is a assembly at Hogwarts to tell what happen with Cedric and with Voldemort returning.
